Our Website Process
Our design process is about so much more than just creating pretty pictures. It’s about understanding and then delivering to requirements: both those of the business, and of the end-customer. Our thorough, proven design methodology helps shape projects, products and businesses, and creates brilliant results.
The first part of the design process is to gain a solid understanding of the background of the project. We’ll start with a discovery workshop and client survey learning about your business, your competitors, your future plans, and if it’s a new business or product and you’re happy to share it, to review your business plan. All these things mean when we start to define how we approach the design, that we have a real understanding of the background.
Only at the point where we understand what the design needs to achieve and how the design can achieve it do we start to draw up the visuals. Due to the work we’ve done in the previous phases, we’ll be creating designs that are absolutely focused on delivering to business and customer objectives. Dependent on your budget we’ll be working on one or two separate design styles and we’ll be confident we’ll blow you away.
Once initial designs are approved, we’ll take on board any requests for changes and develop the designs further, extending them to all areas of the project, whether that be a website, web application, mobile application. We’ll work in partnership with you raise the bar still further.
On final approval of designs, instructions will be added for any interactive elements and then handed over to the developers to enable build to start. They’ll have everything they need to assure that what they produce will match the designs created, and to deliver a fantastic build.

Benefits of advertising with Google AdWords.
A few important things set AdWords apart from other kinds of advertising. Using AdWords, you can:
Reach people at the precise moment they’re searching for what you offer.
Your ad is displayed to people who are already searching for the kinds of products and services you offer. So those people are more likely to take action.
You can choose where your ad appears — on which specific websites and in which geographical areas (states, towns, or even neighborhoods).
The Google Display Network (GDN) alone reaches 80% of Internet users.
* Control your budget
With cost-per-click (CPC) bidding, you’re charged only when someone clicks your ad, not when your ad appears. There are a variety of bidding options you can choose from.
You decide how much or little you want to spend monthly, and you’ll never be charged more than that amount.
There’s no minimum spending commitment.
See exactly what’s working in your ad, and build on it.
View a report of how your ad is doing — see how many new customers connect to your business from your ad, where they’re coming from, and more.
Use AdWords tools to edit and improve your ad, and increase the number of potential customers who contact your business.
Google AdWords is paid advertising or pay per click (PPC) advertising on Google. The way it works is simple:
People use keywords (or search terms) to search for specific products and services.
If the keywords you’ve chosen match what people search for, your paid ad appears next to or above organic Google search results.
When people click on your ad, they’ll go to your website to learn more or buy.
Here are 5 reasons why you should start adwords
There’s an old marketing adage, “Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don’t know which half!” With Google AdWords, every single aspect of your marketing campaign is measurable, right down to the number of clicks, number of impressions, click through rate (CTR), number of conversions, conversion rate, cost per click (CPC), cost per acquisition (CPA), etc. It’s very easy to measure your return on investment (ROI). Having a dedicated team regularly optimizing your campaigns, fine tuning keywords/ads/ad groups will ensure your metrics improve over time.
One of Google AdWords’ primary benefits is that it’s extremely cost-effective. You only pay when someone clicks on your ad (i.e. you pay per click) and you determine exactly how much you want to spend. You can set your budget to $10 per day to $5000 per day; the options are limitless. More importantly, if you’re working with skilled professionals, your campaign performance will be optimized in a way where your cost per click will gradually decline over time. This means, you’ll be able to see an increase in traffic without increasing your costs!
I often remind my clients that Google’s job is to present the most relevant and accurate results in response to a user’s search query. Advertisers who have large marketing budgets may not necessarily get the best positions on the search page, nor the best ranking. Why? Every single time a search term or keyword is put into Google’s search engine, an ad auction takes place. This ad auction determines the order of how the most relevant ads will be organized on the search results page. For example, if you are bidding $10 for the keyword “Auckland dentist” and your competitor is bidding $20 for the same keyword, your competitor’s ad wouldn’t necessarily be ranked above yours. Google takes into account several factors when determining the ad rank. If your Google AdWords campaigns generally have a higher click through rate than your competitor’s, then the probability of your ad being clicked is higher, and thus, your ad would be placed above the competitor’s. Similarly, Google takes into account your website and the page to which you’re directing the paid traffic (the landing page). If the quality of your website and landing page is more relevant to the search query than your competitor’s, then the user experience would be much higher for your ad than your competitor’s, and thus, your ad would be placed above theirs. This Ad Auction ensures only the most relevant ads are presented to the user and levels the playing field for all advertisers.
As an online advertiser, sophisticated targeting tools are essential to maximizing ROI with search marketing. Google AdWords’ targeting capabilities are quite sophisticated and provide advertisers various channels in which to fine-tune their campaign, including:
Location Targeting: Google AdWords allows you to target specific geographic locations. For each ad campaign, you can select locations where your ad can be shown. You can choose locations such as entire countries, areas within a country, cities, territories, or even a radius around a location. More importantly, AdWords allows you to target people searching for or viewing pages about your targeted location, even if they may not be physically located in your target location.
Enhanced campaigns allows advertisers to target mobile device users. This is especially important because the mobile consumption of information and mobile search queries are growing exponentially each year. At the same time, devices are evolving quickly with a growing list of capabilities so enhanced, mobile targeting with Google AdWords provide new opportunities to target the right audience at the right time. This is especially important for advertisers who want to customize their ad text or extensions to grab the attention of customers when they’re viewing the ad on a mobile device.
AdWords has over 40 language options for campaign targeting.
Time Targeting: AdWords allows advertisers to select specific hours during the day for optimal targeting.
Tagging destination URLs for analytics tracking has to be manually executed with other advertisers; however this process is automatic with AdWords.
Google remarketing, also known as retargeting, has been chastised in the media for the excessive frequency and poor targeting of the ads. However, if the audience is grown and cultivated correctly, there is a huge advantage for advertisers to recapture their audience’s attention elsewhere. Retargeting involves showing paid ads to users based on their past web activity on your site. Remarketing allows advertisers to follow users and show ads to them across Google’s large network of partner sites on the Google Display Network. The best way to ensure these ads are targeted correctly is to build a remarketing list on Google AdWords. For example, you can create a retargeting list for visitors to your most popular product category and the remarketing tag tells AdWords to save visitors to your “Popular Category” list. You can then build an AdWords campaign with a specific message to show only to people in the “Popular Catgory” list. What is SEO Marketing?
SEO marketing also referred to as Search Engine Optimization is the process of increasing the visibility of a website on search engine results pages. There are many factors that need to be taken into consideration as a part of your strategy. A solid strategy considers more than just keywords.
It should include consideration how search engines work, which search engines are being used by your target audience, and what your customers are searching for. The goal is to improve the relevance of your website so that it is indexed and well positioned by the search engines.
Search engine optimization is about more than having a lot of content. It also includes making sure your website is well structured and can affect the development and design. It’s about making sure that you not only have content, but that it’s the right content. Search engines take the quality of content and the structure of a website into consideration when “ranking” a website.
SEO marketing isn’t something you do once and then you are done. The playing field is constantly changing as the search engines refine the way they work. The goal of a search engine is to deliver the most relevant results possible to the searcher.

Whatever type of business you are in, you want your company to stand out from the crowd. Of course great service, an excellent product, and fantastic prices will be a big help, but one thing that can help you stick in a customer’s memory is a great logo.
Creating a brand
One thing that sets very successful businesses apart from the rest is that they have developed themselves as a brand. Branding gives your business a reputation and recognition. It makes you unique among your competition and gets you remembered. A big part of any branding strategy is the visual aspect of it. This is where having a great logo comes into play.
Think about any brand and you probably bring their logo to mind. Whether it’s your favorite soft drink, a football team, a television station, or a power company, the mental image of the company is almost certainly their logo. Logos are such a strong part of branding that they have even been made into board games!
Logos for SMEs
While the examples of brands above are bigger enterprises, that doesn’t mean that logos should just be for multinationals. Small businesses can benefit greatly from a logo. As a SME, your company needs to compete as best it can. This means grabbing the attention of customers and making them come back to you time and time again, and recommend you to others.
Just like those big brands, having a logo for your company can make you more easily remembered. By giving customers a visual they can associate with your company, you reinforce their memory of your name. When asked if they know anyone in your field, you’ll be much more likely to come to mind.
How to use a logo
Getting a great logo is important, and using it right can make a big difference, too. Your logo should reflect what your company is all about, and a logo designer can help make sure it works the way it should. Once you have that logo, though, you need to get it out there.
As a method of branding, your logo should be everywhere. It should appear on every page of your website, on letterhead, on business cards, and in any promotional material you have created. A new logo can even be a newsworthy event. Some big brands have managed to create huge viral advertising campaigns based around a change of a recognizable logo.
When it comes to your business’ logo, you should make sure it gets the attention it deserves. An easily updated website, made with a drag and drop editor, can make it possible for you to add your logo as soon as you have it ready to go. The sooner you begin to use your logo, the more time you’ll have for it to make an impact on new and existing customers.
Making your business a brand is a key part of marketing success, which in turn leads to long term success for your company. Having a great logo, and using it across digital and traditional media, can be a huge part of any branding campaign.
